This Product Safety & Care Policy ("Policy") applies to all products sold by PokeSkulls, LLC dba MNSTR Assoc ("MNSTR Assoc," "Company," "we," "our," or "us").
By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy.
1. PRODUCT PURPOSE
MNSTR Assoc products are designed primarily as premium fashion accessories and collectible jewelry.
While our products are manufactured for normal everyday wear unless otherwise indicated, they are not intended for industrial use, athletic activities, heavy physical labor, climbing, lifting, safety applications, medical purposes, or any purpose other than their intended decorative use.
Products should be used responsibly and with reasonable care.
2. NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF METALS
Many MNSTR Assoc products are manufactured using premium metals including:
- Sterling Silver (925 Silver)
- Gold
- Stainless Steel
- Brass
- Other specialty alloys
These materials naturally possess unique physical characteristics.
Depending upon the material, products may naturally:
- develop a patina;
- oxidize;
- scratch;
- dent;
- bend under excessive force;
- show normal signs of wear;
- develop surface marks from regular use.
These characteristics are not manufacturing defects and are considered part of the normal aging process of jewelry.
3. PLATED FINISHES
Some products feature plated finishes, including but not limited to:
- Rhodium
- Gold
- Ruthenium
- Palladium
- Black finishes
- Oxidized finishes
- Specialty decorative coatings
All plated finishes naturally wear over time.
The lifespan of plating depends on numerous factors, including:
- frequency of wear;
- skin chemistry;
- perspiration;
- exposure to water;
- friction;
- cosmetics;
- lotions;
- perfumes;
- cleaning methods;
- environmental conditions.
Gradual wear of plated finishes is expected and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
4. CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To maximize the lifespan of your jewelry, we recommend:
- Store each piece separately.
- Remove jewelry before exercising or participating in sports.
- Remove jewelry before sleeping when practical.
- Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, or using hot tubs.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to salt water and chlorinated water.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, sunscreen, hairspray, cleaning chemicals, and household chemicals.
- Clean using a soft microfiber or jewelry polishing cloth unless otherwise directed.
- Store jewelry in a dry environment away from excessive humidity.
5. CLEANING
Unless otherwise specified:
- Use only soft, non-abrasive polishing cloths.
- Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Do not use ultrasonic cleaners unless specifically recommended for that product.
- Avoid polishing compounds intended for industrial metals.
Improper cleaning may permanently damage certain finishes.
6. NORMAL WEAR
Normal wear includes, but is not limited to:
- minor scratches;
- oxidation;
- patina development;
- finish wear;
- minor dents;
- minor bending from everyday use;
- chain stretching over time;
- clasp wear;
- natural aging of materials.
Normal wear does not constitute a manufacturing defect.
7. PHYSICAL DAMAGE
Jewelry is not indestructible.
Damage resulting from:
- dropping;
- crushing;
- impacts;
- excessive force;
- misuse;
- improper storage;
- modification;
- attempted repair;
- accidents;
- abuse;
- exposure to incompatible chemicals;
is not covered under our Limited Warranty.
8. METAL ALLERGIES
Individual reactions to metals vary.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and material specifications before purchasing.
MNSTR Assoc cannot guarantee compatibility with every individual's skin sensitivities or allergies.
If irritation occurs, discontinue wearing the product and consult a qualified healthcare professional if appropriate.
9. CHILD SAFETY
MNSTR Assoc products are not toys.
Certain products may contain:
- small components;
- chains;
- magnets (where applicable);
- sharp edges consistent with jewelry construction.
These products may present choking, strangulation, or injury hazards.
Keep products out of reach of young children unless specifically intended for children and clearly labeled as such.
10. MAGNETIC PRODUCTS
Certain products may incorporate magnets.
Magnets may interfere with pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), insulin pumps, hearing devices, and other implanted or wearable medical devices.
Individuals using medical devices should consult their physician or device manufacturer before using magnetic products.
Keep magnets away from electronic storage devices, credit cards, and sensitive electronic equipment.
11. COLLECTOR PRODUCTS
Many MNSTR Assoc products are manufactured as limited-edition collectible pieces.
Limited production status does not make products more durable than standard jewelry.
Collectors should handle, wear, and store products appropriately to preserve their appearance and long-term condition.
12. PRODUCT MODIFICATIONS
Do not attempt to:
- reshape;
- weld;
- solder;
- engrave;
- drill;
- cut;
- cast;
- plate;
- chemically alter; or
- otherwise modify
MNSTR Assoc products without consulting a qualified jewelry professional.
Unauthorized modifications may permanently damage the product and void applicable warranty coverage.
13. PRODUCT INSPECTION
Customers should inspect products upon receipt.
If you believe a product contains a manufacturing defect, please contact team@mnstrassoc.com promptly with:
- your order number;
- photographs of the product;
- a description of the issue.
Prompt reporting helps us evaluate warranty eligibility.
14. PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS
MNSTR Assoc continually improves manufacturing methods, finishes, materials, and product construction.
Accordingly, products may vary slightly between production runs.
Such improvements or manufacturing variations do not constitute defects.
