Created in collaboration with Tezuka Productions, the officially licensed Astro Boy Dog Tag Pendant reduces Astro Boy down to one of his most recognizable silhouettes—cut directly into a traditional military tag form. The result keeps the familiarity of the original shape while shifting it into something cleaner, heavier, and intended for everyday wear.

Rather than building the piece around surface detail, the design focuses on absence and outline. Astro Boy’s profile is carved through the center of the tag itself, allowing the negative space to become the focal point rather than the engraving.

The dog tag format keeps the piece grounded and utilitarian, while the softened edges and polished finish push it further into jewelry than memorabilia. From a distance it reads minimal and industrial, with the character reference becoming more recognizable the closer you get to it.
