Multiple offset layers of Astro Boy are combined into a single pendant, creating a phase-shift effect that changes depending on angle, light, and movement.
Rather than depicting a single static version of Astro Boy, the pendant was designed to capture several moments of movement at once. By layering multiple silhouettes together, the design creates the appearance of motion frozen in time—similar to the overlapping animation frames used to convey speed and action.
